Add, Attention Deficit Disorder, and ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, are constantly being diagnosed in people I know. I'm 15, so I know a lot of people in here will probably completely disregard my opinion. However, I wanna tell my story. I myself was diagnosed with ADHD. The reason, I beleive, is because many things in school would bore me. In response, I would doodle or write. Yes, I'm a writer, and no, it isn't that fantasy crap everybody seems to love nowadays. Anyways, someone prescribed me Ridilin, I beleive. I took it once. Would it did to me was make me a zombie; I walked through the day, my attention wasn't anymore focused. Instead, al it did was make me focus on NOTHING at all. I, of course, threw these pills away. I am hear to say that all these drugs do is make kids into submissive slaves, and this is why the diagnoses is so popular. With the increasing population, teachers are getting flooded with way too many students and parents, in this lovely recesion of ours, are forced to work constantly in some odd, self-fabricated sence of haste that pulls them completely away from their kids. Neither do these teachers nor parents not feel like dealing with these kids, they themselve have forgotten what it's like to be a kid and also still expect everyone to conform to a single doctrine of living.

Now, while I sound preachey, hear me out; people don't wanna deal with their own kids anymore. So, instead of dealing with kids who are hyperactive not because they have some fake disorder but because they're kids, they drug them into being blind zombies that simply walk through the day with no individuality and absoluty no creativity. I should know, this has hapened to me already. And here's another thing, people are starting to think that everybody, the some 6.6 billion people, all have to have some sort of specific norm when it comes to personality. Not only is this beleife outdated and dehumanizing, it also makes it seem like someone has to be a zombie, or they're screwed up in the head. I say, screw this. I have ADHD (supposedly), two of my friends have ADD, I know five other people personally that have been diagnosed with it, all of them have taken drugs of somesort, and each has thrown the drugs away because they make you a zombie. Now only that, but those drugs took away these people's true personalities. All of these people are fun, happy people with positive outlooks on life. When they were on those drugs, everything turned into the exact opposite.

I think what this is is America's obsession with drugs and specific norms taking a strangle hold on life; people now take drugs for everything, even things they don't have. I, for one, am tired of it. I'm tired of parents complaining about running out of depression drugs, I'm tired of hearing about someone being diagnosed with these phoney disorders: Every parent in America just wants their kids to be "normal," exact copies of everyone else.

I am the voice of these kids. Hear me out.
