ONE TRUE THING
Nothing else feels like us -
Me crawling into bed with you
Wrapped in your complicated embrace.
The worries of the day evaporate
Into the vents over our heads.
Two become one over and again.
I express my life through you
While you compliment my every curve.
In all of the places I have known,
None feel like you and me -
Like coming home.

Words come into view
Delicate, or scribbling
Old words are made anew
Put in patterns, some unique

Pen and paper,
Ink across the page...
Helps her escape,
From her invisible cage.
Feelings and emotions,
Pouring out
