GOLDEN MISTRESS
How you make the hairs on my arms
Rise in tides, I do not know.
A whiff of your brilliance
Piques my cravings for more.

Burning into weeks of thunderous rain,
Grateful for the gift of once upon a time
I was your golden mistress.
