I have an unusual take on the spirit world. This is because I am often in contact with a very special spirit whom I happen to live with. He tells me about his world sometimes. For instance, though they don't necessarily need to, spirit people can eat and he likes junk food. His name is Nicholas Richards and is actually an ancestor, great some odd uncle. The story gets a bit more odd because he thinks that I am the reincarnate of his sister, Elizabeth. Though I may make another post about him, his family and lover and his life but for now I will discuss the differences between spirits and ghosts.
Many people group the spirits, ghosts and demons into one category but in truth these things are three different things all together. There are certain religious aspects also associated with belief or lack there of in such entities. For instance some people do not believe in ghosts or spirits and deam any such being as a demon. Others acknowlege the presance of the Holy Spirit yetdisregaud other types of spirits. In reality belief in spirit is usually a matter of faith and experience as much as anything else that can not really be proven by scientific or conventional means.
As I've stated before there are differences between a ghost, spirit and demon. A ghost is basically an imprint known as residual energy that has been left upon an enviornment. A Ghost is not the same thing as a spirit. A ghost may have the physical appearance of a human or animal but it does not interact with people or the surrounding enviornment unless it is enacting an event that occured. There are a few theories about ghosts and why residual energy is retained in certain ares. It is often found that ghosts inhabit stone buildings and there is speculation that stone records place memories very easily. A more scientific explanation says that power lines and electro magnetic fields could be causing people that are sensitive to electro magnetic fields to have visual hallucenations. Some think that a ghost is produced when something occured in a place that was very emotional for the people involved and the imprint of that event plays back like a video recording. Anyway a ghost is not like Casper. It has no conciousness and only reenacts an events repeditivly.
A spirit is very different from a ghost. A spirit is the true form of humanity, or sometimes animals as well. It has been said that we are spiritual beings in a very physical existance and that is true. A spirit is a conscious entity. He/she/it
