Christmas lights! How do "they" make those breathtaking displays and how can I duplicate them? Here's a quick list of what to think of and what you can find for your Christmas light decorations.

Before we shop for the Christmas lights you need to have in mind a few important points:
1. Locate your power outlets and know how much power they can handle.
2. Helpful formula: Watts = volts x amps. This will help you figure out how many

strands of lights you can string together to one outlet.
3. Perhaps sketch out an idea first.

Below is provided a list of different types of lights available for Christmas decorating.
A. Mini lights. Popular, these are incandescent lights; use a lot of energy and burn
hot. They are also inexpensive. One problem is that if one bulb burns out, the
whole string goes.
B. LED lights. These come in a number of shapes, sizes, designs. They can save up to
90% power over incandescent, never get hot and burn brighter. They are the safest
by far to have around children and pets. If one bulb burns out, the string stays
lit.
i. Styles:
1. Rope lights can be used for borders or bent into or around any shape desired.
2. Net and curtain lighting can be draped over bushes, trees, doors and windows
for an added touch.
3. 3D versions come in a number of character designs, shapes and sizes that you
can use in your yard, on your home or in your home.

This is a very short and quick list. Visit these websites for further information and lots of ideas and products!
