Achieving peace of mind

your daily important tasks before you 'play' is an important rule of the thumb.

Achieving a peace of mind also means that you have no worries for your future. Not only do you need to plan for your everyday schedule, completing important tasks before you can relax and enjoy yourself, you also need to know what you want in future. You need to plan for your retirement needs, you need to plan your wedding with your love ones and so on. Having a peace of mind means you have no worries for baby-sitting - you can go to work peacefully when you entrust your child in the hands of a baby-sitter whom you trust. Having a peace of mind also means that you can leave your home safely when you go for an overseas trip, for vacations or honeymoon. In these above instances, to achieve a peace of mind would require an individual to:

1. Do a proper personal financial planning, paying attention to the retirement income needs. Knowing the amount of retirement income and start saving it from young will ensure a peace of mind - knowing that you can retire comfortably at the kind of lifestyle you plan for.

2. Research on child care centres and baby-sitters. Interviews the baby-sitters and walk-ins to child care centres to access them. (For people who have children)

3. Safe Keeping of your possessions when you intend to go for overseas trips. This includes things like asking the newspaper subscription to be stopped for a few days and entrusting someone to care for your plants and pets.

4. For lovers who intend to get married, their peace of mind would be to find a suitable home and getting all other of their wedding preparation done. This require planning as well.

To sum up, acceptance of people and nature is the basic of achievement of peace of mind. In order to achieve inner peace from within us, we need to learn to love and to forgive, to be contented, thankful and appreciate things around us. The next step to achieving peace of mind is to learn to cope with the tasks and responsibilities of everyday's life. Not only must we plan for our daily life, we also must plan for our future, with particular emphasize on retirement income (since money is essential for a living). The planning of the future also includes the major events of life such as wedding, graduation, education for your children, upbringing of the children and so on.

Peace of mind is achieved when these qualities come naturally in you - acceptance, contentment, love and forgive; and everyday you when you close your eyes, you know that you have done your best, you have your obligations and tasks fulfilled, you have no anxieties and worries. Your mind, heart and body are in equilibrium.
