Ingredients:
7 1/2 cups of pears
5 cups of sugar
1 lemon
1 orange
Directions:
First you need to peal the pears and cut them into small pieces.
Combine pears and sugar in a large bowl and let stand overnight.
Juice the lemon and the orange.
Then add the juice to pears.
Once all ingredients are combined cook over medium flame for 60-90 minutes, until the sauce becomes thick.
Then remove from heat and store in jars.
Makes about 6 cups of jelly.
