I am writing this article to bring attention to a serious injustice which is taking place in courts all over this country. The decisions being made in the Family Courts are unconstitutional. Our rights as mothers are being taken away from us daily and we must stop this horrible injustice.
Supposedly our Family Courts are determining all child custody cases based on the childs "best interest". The truth of the matter is if the father has enough money to hire the most manipulative and deceitful attorney, child psychologist, GAL, he will always win in a child custody case. Thus, our family courts are now for sale to the HIGHEST BIDDER. The justice system no longer works for the parent who truly loves the children, instead it caters to the deceitful and manipulative parent that will do anything in order to win.
I have been battling my child custody situation since August of 2003. That is when my ex-husband took me back to court to change the custody order and make himself the legal custodian of the girls. At first I laughed and thought, there's no way that will ever happen in a courtroom. But I was not aware of what truly goes on in family courts all over this country on a daily basis. What I have learned is absolutely shocking and must be stopped!
As I look back on what took place in the courtroom that day, I realize my attorney knew she would not win my case. She was reluctant to even challenge false testimony which was given by a well known child psychologist from Nashville, TN. Since my trial I have discovered that this child psychologist has been labeled a "hired gun" for years. This psychologist will guarantee a win for the parent that hires (buys) him for a custody case.
I was literally in shock watching what took place in the courtroom that day. How could this be happening to me? I was the mother that stayed home with my children for twelve years. I was the mom who did everything with my children while my exhusband went to work each day and didn't bother coming home until 8:30 or 9:00 every night. But regardless of my history of being a dedicated, loving mother the court modified our custody order and made my exhusband primary custodian. I felt like my heart had been completely ripped from my chest. My children have always meant everything to me and that is the very reason my exhusband took me back into the courtroom to take them from me. He knew that would guarantee him the joy of watching me suffer the worst pain that he could ever inflict on me.
I am still in this battle. . . My youngest daughter is begging to come back and live with me and hopefully within in the next few months I will file for change of custody. I will never stop fighting for my rights and for my children!
AS WOMEN WE MUST UNITE AND EXPOSE WHAT IS TAKING PLACE IN FAMILY COURTROOMS ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS HORRIBLE INJUSTICE IS MADE PUBLIC BY MEANS OF THE MEDIA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW WHICH IS A STORY THAT WAS RECENTLY SHOWN ON FOX NEWS IN MEMPHIS, TN. . . THIS IS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE OF THE MILLIONS OF WOMEN WHO HAVE HAD THEIR LIVES DESTROYED BY THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM IN THIS COUNTRY.
