Finding work at home jobs

Are you tired of all those ads out there and having to sift through all the "junk" in your inbox everyday just hoping to find the perfect work at home job for you? I can say I did that for longer than I care to admit. I read all those warnings, I read all those tips and ideas and got very overwhelmed very fast. Which ones were honest and which ones weren't?

I will tell you every single minute I spent researching different business opportunities was worth it. I am not rich but that wasn't what I was after. What I do have is time with my kids. I'm the one at home when my kids get off the bus, I'm the mom that can run to the school if the teacher needs someone to read to her class and I'm the one who had the best summer because I didn't have to worry about what my kids were doing while I was at work or if the babysitter was "playing on the computer or looking at porno". (That really happened once) I have had the best summer this year. Sure I had to tell the kids to hold it down while I was on the phone a few times but they understand.

With all of that said there are really some things you must think about. Have a plan before you begin. Don't jump on the first idea you see and try and run with it because if you do your going to get burnt out real quick. Surf the internet, get familiar with those crazy ads so you know what the look like. Sign up for a free e-mail address so you don't get all the junk that will follow with every site you register with. If its not free don't do it. There is not a reputable company out there that will ask you to pay a fee for you to work for them. They are scams and you can read about each and every one of them online just by searching it on the web.

One of the biggest things I have heard from most people that they have learned the hard way is that not every business opportunity that is advertised out there fits everyone's moral character. Some are just plain wrong even if they aren't illegal. Always use the "Golden Rule" and your own ethics when looking for a business opportunity or when trying to recruit other people.

Ask yourself what do you love? That is the most important thing. Do what you love will allow you to work but you will love what you are doing and won't feel like you are working. If you love writing there are tons of people out there looking for freelance writers, if you love make-up there are several companies that you can sell make-up, do you love children? What about a home daycare? The number of opportunities is endless.
