You beat the job-hunting blues by having a plan to find work and to relax, and renew yourself.Looking for ajob is a difficult job in itself, so you must manage your time, so you work a part of each day, and carve out time needed for yourself. I wil offer a few tips to help you succeed. Tip l: Use morning time to set up appointments for interviews, and contacting people to get ideas of jobs and job interviews. Your goal will be to get an interview each day, until you get a job. Work hard on asking for interviews, expect rejections, you can do it. Don't take no for an answer. Tip 2:Take some time each week to get a hair cut, there is nothing else than can even close to getting your hair cut, and feeling better about yourself-by looking better and feeling better. Shine those shoes, and keep your clothers neat for your interviews. Look like you don't need a job. Tip 3: Make a list of all the things you are proud of about you. If you handle computers well put that down, if you work well with people, if you manage your time well, make a list of a least a 6 things that you feel you can do, better then most people. Now keep that list with you, and read it before an interview, pump yourself up, so you can appear positively all day long. Tip 4: Consider volunteering during your job hunting campaign, it will give you change of pace, and additional experience to offer during an interview. I have a friend that works at his public library, helping out in the computer room, and assisting others that need help using the computer, and making their contacts for jobs and other work sites. My friend claims that this is fun time for him, and it takes the pressure off him, during his job hunt. Volunteering can launch your next career, and it can be real fun. Tip 5: Go to your public library to get books, CD's, tapes, and other essential information to help you prepare for your job interviews. There are many books on the job getting process, and how others got jobs using various techniques, many of which you can use to succeed in getting the job of your choice. Tip 6: For a few hours a week, do something you love to do. Whether you choose seeing a friend, going shopping, walking at the mall, lisening to music, taking yourself out to eat, or visting with a friend, do something you enjoy. You owe it to yourself and your sanity to do something which brings you job. Tip 7: You manage yourself. It mans being proactive in finding work, and caring for yourself, it means being positive and you will love yourself more,it means "Never Giving Up" because with hard work, and renewing yourself with time off to do the things which you enjoy, the job of your dreams will be right around the corner. Good Luck.
