Burnt
Your shadow is a whore's:
a sinuous silhouette
that melts before you,
that
sultry whisper,
stuck in thin indigo wind.
an old candle is your heart's fire
quenched with a resigned sigh.
trickling smoke and red ash...
-won't ignite no more.
can you keep my pain for me?
don't want it myself-
and I see you have baggage to spare.
do your threadbare dreams
keep you warm when you remember
...me?...you...
shadow of a lover:
you loved in vain.
you sacrificed your freedom
for a tattered used up life.

a sticky mess
inside my lungs.

Trying to find the right spot

Curse of A Spurned Lover

I will hope
I will hope that when you kiss her lips

I watch him
With out any love
All of the old valour a thin, velvet exterior.
Nothing more luxurious than make believe.
