Saying good bye to you
Is not easy.
To me they are bad words
That hurt me in every way
You leaving me is something
I always feared
For you are the only one
Who always cared
Saying good bye to you
Is not easy
I know our friendship
Will always stay strong
You were always the one
Who helped me feel that
I belonged
Who will I confide in
When you're not there
To listen?
You are a one-of-a-kind
Who stopped my tears
From falling
Saying good bye to you
Is not easy
And I know that you'll
Be leaving soon
And that you want to
See me for the last time
I don't really want to go see you
For I fear
The dreadful farewell
But I do want to go see you
Because you are my best friend
Distance will never change that
In my heart, I truly know
That I don't want us to end.
