Did you forget
I have
A heart that bleeds
Just like yours?
Of course you forgot.
Why shouldn't you?
I'm all but invisible to you
I don't exist.
I am nothing.
I am air.
Not EVEN air
You notice air more than you
EVER
Notice me.
I would like to be the air you breathe,
If only just for a moment
Of feeling
Valuable
Needed
Wanted
Imperative
By you.
