Make money in RuneScape via fishing

Ok, now this is the final installation in my, Introduction to Money Making Guide. And this guide is about one of my favorite skills. Fishing! Ok, fishing is a necessary skill in Runescape because it allows you to fish for food which you can sell to other players for lots of cash or use for your own consumption while you train and pk. Fishing can be quite a profitable business if you focus and concentrate on it. Most players will say that fishing is probably one of the most easy and profitable skills on Runescape.

To start off, exit Lumbridge and head for the swamp behind it via the path that branches out of the graveyard. Then head along the path till you see lots of people fishing on the shoreline, or until you see a fish on your mini map. Go up to one of the spots for fishing, you'll see a spot in the water with dots in it, indicating where you can fish. Once you start fishing, you'll catch shrimp to start out with. It'll start off slow, but eventually you'll get an inventory full of shrimp. Ask the players around you for a fire and start cooking. Since your cooking level is probably really low, you will burn a lot of shrimp. Never fear! Shrimp are relatively worthless on the Runescape market, and burning a couple doesn't matter. Once you've cooked your load, either drop them or deposit them in your bank for use and consumption on future training times.

Keep fishing until you hit level 10, at which point you should go buy a fishing rod and bait at the fishing store in Port Sarim. Once you're in the shop, buy one fishing rod (it should say fishing rod) and if you want, buy a fly fishing rod for the future. After that buy plenty of bait, at least 200 so you don't have to come back to Port too many times. Now you should abandon the Lumbridge fishing spot for the Draynor Fishing spot.

Immediately start fishing for sardines when you get there. If you should lose all your bait, head back to the Port and get some more bait. Once you can fish anchovies, I suggest you do it. They provide more exp than herring and they don't need bait, just cast out a fishing net. Do this till you hit level 20 fishing. Once you get there, head for the farm near Draynor and start killing chickens. Collect their feathers until you get 500 feathers. It'll take a while, but it'll keep you from wasting too much cash on feathers at the Port. Go to Barbarian Village then with your fly fishing rod, and start fishing at the spot near the bridge that closes the gap between the Varrok road and
