Effective Management Communication
Communication in the workplace is rooted in understanding what the manager needs from the workforce and what then workforce needs from the manager.
Communication Is by definition the free flow of information to and from the workforce.
Effective communications aids the manager in gauging the pulse of the productivity in the workplace.
What the Manager Needs from the Workforce
As the manager you need to meet and exceed your service or productivity requirements.
You need people to work with you to reach those goals.
You need them to do it consistently, effectively and correctly.
You need them to solve problems, and give you their most consistent, continuous effort.
What the Workforce Needs from the Manager
They need a safe workplace.
They need to know what you want them to do.
They need to know how you want it done.
They need to know that they will be properly trained.
They need to be appreciated and understood.
They need to know that they can trust and rely on you.

Teach them to learn.

Teach them to think for you.

Equip them properly.
Insure that they have the proper tools to do the work you need for them to do.
