Above the city lights,no sound do I hear,
Just the cool night's breeze steady brushing my ear.
No wings, nor a plane, to think it's"extreme",
I can't be, impossible, it must be a dream.
Turning and climbing, the rush when I dive,
These wonderful feelings,my senses alive.
Where am I now? Unfamiliar I know,
Thought I was lost til I found the moon's glow.
Curiosity peaking, how far, and how fast?
The birth of this ability, how long will it last?
The survivor inside says fly straight and fly low,
In turn taunts the explorer, how high can we go?
I must go, I must try,I just can't resist,
The wonder and freedom that saying "no"
Would have missed.

The Forest Creature
Twilight, my perfect time to play, what
A perfect ending, to an almost perfect day.
The forest is my home,

Once born never free
until the spirit flees
earthly bonds that hold us tight
to guard against our spirits flight.
A silent whisper

Bohemian Rhapsody
Warm, wet, and spongy
Onyx rich between her toes.
Scent of rain, heavy,
Real, earthy in her nose.
Float
Soft and gentle as a mothers touch
The air holds us aloft
Two feathers floating
Weightless never awaiting you come to
little joy so free
so spry and upbeat and no cares in this world
except whether or not a ladybug will fly away home
on request
sunshine
