If you are looking to have some fun, and maybe meet that person you have been waiting all your life for, the Tampa Bay Area is a hot spot! The lifestyle here is a perfect combination of business and fun, which attracts many people to the area.

Making a choice on where to live could be hard. Every area has pros and cons. Many young professionals choose to live in South Tampa. Those working in the area enjoy the easy commute, and access to shops and boutiques. During the day you can walk around Hyde Park, and enjoy the shops and restaurants. Exercising is easy, with the longest continuous sidewalk running down Bayshore Boulevard, right next to the Bay. There are also art festivals and many other events. Many of the condominium complexes have great pools, and you may even find a pool party to crash. Night time transfoms South Tampa, and some of the best nightspots fill to capacity. You can find almost anyone at MacDinton's or Jackson's, or eating dinner and catching an IMAX movie at Channelside. Even if you don't live in South Tampa, it only takes about a half hour to drive there from any spot within the city.

Living in Pinellas County offers great benefits as well. The best being the easy access to the beaches. Beach communities always offer a mecca of activities on the weekends, and during the summer, people flock to the water on the weekends. There are great bars on the beaches, and almost always some sort of festival. Catch the sunset from the rooftop bar at the Hurricane Restaurant on Pass-a-Grille, then wander downstairs for a great Grouper Sandwich. Beach life is very laid back, and offers something for everyone.

Many corporations have offices in the area, including Coca-Cola, Nielsen Media Research, Fifth-Third Bank, United Healthcare and tons of others. If you are looking to advance your education, you can attend the University of South Florida, which is a top-rated research school. If you desire your MBA, the University of Tampa has a great program.

There is more to living single in the Tampa Bay Area than beaches and bars. There are great art musesuems such as the Salvador Dali musesuem in St. Petersburg. Tampa Bay is home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL), the Tampa Bay Rays (MLB), the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL) and the Tampa Bay Storm (Arena Football). The community offers a great lifestyle, and home prices can be very reasonable. There are many condo and townhouse developments, so there is no pressure to own a big home. There are lots of parks and trails, and if you like to golf, you should be in heaven! This area offers something for everyone, which may be why it is gaining some popularity. If you are looking for great weather, nice people and a lifestyle that combines the best of both worlds, the Tampa Bay Area is for you!
