The Sea

The sea which lies before me as I write,
glows rather than sparkles in the May sunshine.
It whips against rocks creating

He said ‘Let’s build a magic place, a place that’s by the sea.

Where we can live and love and laugh, and

Away from the hustle, away from the crowd

I want to be in my own place now

Close to the water, the birds that will fly

They'll

Beyond the waves crashed on sand-covered shores,

lay passive waters only seldom stirred.

And if a storm should upset tranquility
