There are many MMORPGs, but which ones are free? If you are a gamer who cannot afford $15 a month, or if you are an occasional gamer who finds it unreasonable to pay, there are quality MMORPG options that are free.

Knight Online, distributed by e-Games, is a full 3d MMORPG with a fantasy theme. There are two character races to choose from: ElMorad or Karus. Free.

KAL Online, distributed by INIXSOFT, is a full 3d MMORPG with a medieval Oriental theme. The graphics are beautiful and it's free.

RAPPELZ, distributed by Gala-Net, is a full 3d MMORPG with a medieval Oriental theme. The graphics rival WoW's graphics, if not surpass, and it's totally free. Forever. The game was launched in South Korea recently and has gained immense popularity. There is an English version available.

RAN Online, distributed by e-Games, is a full 3d MMORPG with an urban Japanese theme. Free.

Gamers who are willing to pony up money for an MMORPG can find a variety of MMORPGs that are generally better than the free MMORPGs.

WoW, distributed and produced by Blizzard, is a full 3d MMORPG with a fantasy theme. The graphics are well known to be excellent, and the content is fantastic.

International Ragnarok Online (iRO), distributed and produced by Gravity, is a 3d MMORPG with an Anime theme. The 3d environment is beautiful, with 360 degree rotation, and its graphics are cute. If you are looking for a game to relax and calm you, then I suggest iRO over WoW. Please take note that Ragnarok Online 2's release is soon, so hold on.

Granado Espada is a full 3d MMORPG with a Spanish theme. The 3d environment is marvelous and surpasses any other MMORPG mentioned here. It is highly suggested you search up Granado Espada.

Most of the games I've listed are less known in America, but I guarantee they're fantastic.
