Thou Shall Not Steal.
This is an idea should be taught to every child when they are still very young.
When God handed down the 10 commandments it was during the time when Moses was wandering around in the desert . The people he was leading were tasting freedom after a long period of slavery. With freedom they engaged in licentious and riotous behavior
This was one of the first commanents Moses noted . When God looked down from His heavenly throne during this period of time, He could see that mankind was in need of some rules and guidance. Society had to be set up with rules to prevent the absolute chaos that results when each person does what ever suits him at the moment. Some people are a poor judge of what is the right behavior With out guidance a man will sometime set a very low standard. Just because it feels okay to him .sometimes won't result in the right path. Sin often comes in a pretty package decorated with bow ribbons. But while it looks fine on the outside, you might fine it is a pig sty full of slime when the package is opened.
Our God is a very orderly God.
Even the planets have to follow rules and stay in their assigned paths.
Our sun travels the same route every day .
When God gives us rules it is not because he is a old sour puss who doesn't want you to have any fun. It is because he can look into the future and see just where your path is leading unless you make some immediate changes in the direction you are traveling . It is like making the choice to go down one lonely road while you are still in the dark, only to find out in the morning that the bridge a head was washed out. He gives us the freedom to make choices for our lives. With that freedom comes responsibility. It may not be easy some times to do the right thing but in the long run it will save us time and the effort it takes to straighten out the mistakes we make.
When you STEAL something that was produced by another mans labor,
You may have gotten something else other than the object that you stole.
For along with the item that you took , you also got a debt of Karma.
With the law of Karma is activated , you then opened your self up to suffering a lost worth much more than what was the value of what it was you stole.
The Bible says that what you sow , you will also reap That is just another way of explaining Karma.
So my sincere wish for you as you start out on this journey , is an instant Karma with a lost great enough to get your attention , so that you may learn the lesson early and well.
And that you will always remember the commandment "Thou Shall Not Steal "
