How to learn to love your job and make life happier

To start with I would like to mention that in order not to get into a situaton where you have to look for ways to learn to love your job why not try to find a job in a field you love to work in. I believe that would solve a lot of problems. Many times why we hate our jobs is because we don't anyway like the field we are working in. So when work problems come our way we develop a negative attitude about the job as a whole. However if its something we love doing we be willing to put up with the challenges that go along with the job.

However we can still learn to love the job we are doing by being objective about it. Ask yourself why are you doing that job? Why do you spend eight hours of your time doing that job? There must be a good reason or yor wouldn't do so. Is it to provide for your family so that they can have their daily needs. That means its because you love your family if you have one that you make that sacrifice, because you don't want them out in the cold. So the job is a means to an end, not the end in itself. And if the end is as good as your family being provided for then you will love that job.One can add to this attitude towards work. Do you have a positive or negative attitude towards your job and work in general? That can influence whether you will love or hate your job.

Also its good to think about how blessed you are that you have that job and how many would want to have that job you have. There are many well read people who do not have a job though they may have searched for one for long. So its good to reflect on how blessed you are. That reflection can move you to love your job. Don't wait to lose it to appreciate it. As it is said you never know how good something is until you lose it or you don't have it.

Another way to learn to love your job is to set targets and reward yourself when you accomplish those targets. Some people hate their jobs because they do not see any accomplishments. So set targets and as you accomplish them reward yourself. The thought of the reward may make you eager to do the job. Don't set too high targets though that you can't accomplish because that will discourage you and don't set targets that you do not find challenging enough.

Go on vacation. Yes sometimes we hate our jobs because we are tired and need a break. So take that break. Go on vacation. And don't take your work with you. If possible go somewhere where you will be seperated from your job for a while.
