Once twice
I heard it good and plenty
I heard the words you've said
I heard it once too many
I heard you were callin me names
and you gave me an unpleasant label
because you heard a story about me
that was more fiction than a fable
You dont know a thing about me
We've never even conversated
You heard a couple bad things
and now by you I'm hated?
Did you even take a minute to
hear my side of the story unfold?
Or did you just sit there and believe all
the bullshit you were told?
Yeah that mustve been it
because your judgement is inexact
next time dont run your mouth
before you even have the facts
Please dont get me wrong,
I don't care what you have to say
I dont know anything about you
Except now you wont give me the time of day
Others made up your mind about me
thats always been the norm
maybe you didn't want to do that
but for acceptance you chose to conform
maybe you follow their lead
to hide your true identity
because if they knew the real you
you'd be their worst enemy
Tell me what makes you better than others?
because im not comprehending..
I thought you had to at least be a
leader to act so condescending
Maybe you should quit listening
to negative messages others send
because that person they got you to hate
probably would've been a better friend
Try not to be so judgemental
you don't know what people have gone through
Once you've spent a day in their shoes
Then let the judging be up to you.

Poetry: Judging
by Shari Mead
I stare into the pool of water
Stunned by what I see
A reflection, which vaguely resembles me
Not quite perfect in the rippling
You do some things I wouldn't do
say some things that are untrue
but, it's not me you'll answer to
so, why should I remark
An angels scorn;
Careful what you say
As you walk on by
Dismissing me in every way
Not even looking me in the eye
Careful what
by Anita Carter
He Is Judge
I know, there are people out there
who judge me; for who I am.
And I know I am wrong in judging others.
But when
"Safe and Sound"
True forgiveness
what is this?
saving the mind from a dream of hell
Unconditional
true forgiveness
helps
