Finally
You finally broke that bottle,
Across your worn face.
You seem to blame others,
For all of your mistakes.
You have hit rock bottom,
It's deeper than you thought.
There's no one to reach out to,
You're lost.
The shattered pieces,
Lay beside your head.
There's no one to pick them up,
Your soul is dead.
Each one is jagged,
Each one is sharp.
All of them once held something evil,
A liquid which damaged your heart.
Who do you have,
After what you've done?
No person wants a drunkard,

We know what you've done.
You can't get far,
You can't move.

You've broken your beloved tool.

Bounces off the broken glass.
It seems to dance across the floor,
And reflects upon your past.
The memories start playing,
It doesn't let you forget.
What you had with the one you loved,
The one you don't regret.
It paints a vivid picture,
Of you and me.
If shows how happy you once were,
Before you turned so green.
The day we saw each other comes into view,
It's the exact moment we met.
As I look at you,
It's an expression I'll never forget.
Then your mind flashes forward,
To the pain you caused me.
The very night you cheated,
And lost me.
Then all goes black,
There is no light that can be seen.
The pages of your life prove,
You did lose, finally...

THE END
The numbered pages approaching its end;
Warriors and adventures,
knights in shining armour,
detectives and prisoners,
Cynical thoughts and twisted words
