First Kiss
The awkward walks
The random talks
The playful tickles
Goofy giggles
Eyes lock
The laughter stops
Nerves and anticipation
Sweaty palms and light headed sensations
Bodies brush
Blood begins to rush
One deep breath; then two
Minds contemplating what to do
One moves forward
Another inward
Now a whisper apart
Mind at the ready; body waiting to start
Hearts racing faster
Will this be a memorable event or a devastating disaster?
Mind and body in constant contradiction
Mind shouts don't move too fast; body longs for the sensation
The trembling begins
A battle between body and mind; body wins
Now all those events have led up to this
A moment just before that one first kiss

Upon my lips a sweetness
I can't resist
Passionate intake of breath
Lips violently crushed to mine
Scream of
