I am so scared of moving away from home
What if I can't make it through life on my own
What if I don't have what it takes
What if I make far too many mistakes
I am so scared of starting my own life
What if its filled with nothing but negativity and strife
What if I don't have a great legacy to leave
What if God is disappointed in me
What if I don't get the career of my dreams
What if happiness is really as far away as it seems
Being away from home conjures up all of these fears
And the doubt has built up in my spirit over the years
I'm am trying to let go and let God lead the way
So maybe leaving home will become less fearful someday
