If I could have a one-hour interview with anyone, I would choose Jesus. I realize that there are many prominent people in the world, all very interesting, however believe no one has touched the world at large like Christ.
He has changed the human race like no other. The very fact that we have charities, churches, food banks, and the list goes on, proves his power to change and help humankind like no other.
An hour would not be enough to be in his presence. I believe in his grace, and his divine leadership. If we simply acknowledge him as Savior, and King, he can indeed use us to do things unparallel. Contrary to what we thought was possible.
Just to meet him would be a blessing. He has reined the universe for longer than man has existed, because I believe he created all.
I would love to meet the man who transformed life, as we know it. An hour in his presence would be the most glorious day of my life. To be in his presence and experience his love and his wisdom, cannot be explained nearly enough.
To be able to talk with the person I believe gave me the life I have, and the ability to enjoy that which he created, well it would be more than I could comprehend. It would give me great joy.
There is no doubt in my mind that I would choose. There have been many great people, but I venture to guess, that they also would place him the top of the list, any list.
I realize many might say, "Why that man". The answer is quite simple. He has changed the world more than any other has. His teachings have changed lives for thousands of years. The very thought to speak with the one who gives life, and gave his life for the world, is an hour well spent in my estimation.
Perhaps it begins to explain my reasons for choosing this person. The Christian religion tells us that Gods son was the deliverer of humankind and his only reason for coming was to redeem man. No one else has that power. I choose a man that has control over the universe, the oceans the stars, and all that lives on his created world. Can another claim that he can raise the dead, still the seas, make the blind to see? I realize we have many great people that have done great things. I also know that many of these same people serve a living Jesus, the son of God. They get their power and help form this man. They freely admit it, and are grateful, as am I.
Would I choose to have an hour with any other, perhaps I might after my interview with Jesus Christ. He will remain my first choice.
