Short stories: Mystery

Traces of arsenic was found there too. Had he been killing her all along? Looking back on the way everything went I can see that there were strange things going on.

The mother decided that she would have the police arrest him at dinner at her house. She diligently went about her business inviting her former son in law and his new wife and grandson over for dinner. Oddly they had decided to leave the precious tyke with me. After all what am I doing with my time. So they showed up for dinner an hour early and offered drinks he went over to the bar and made martinis for everybody. While they waited for dinner to arrive and unbeknown st to him the police to arrive. The room got fuzzy to all of them but him it was then that is former in laws and his knew wife realized that he had drugged them. He then promptly shot them all and arranged them in a circle around the dining room table and then shot himself.

It was in his will that he was of sound mind and body and that I should be guardian of this beautiful little boy. Of course it was in the grandparents will that their grandson so everything upon their death. So that's how I became the family maid that owns it all now me and my beautiful young man. We have put the past behind us and we are moving on with our lives. Never again will I change the sheets of insane sick people.
