Virtual Farm:

A kid inherits a farm and he needs to turn a profit as fast as possible while he embraces this new rugged lifestyle. The name of this particular game is to help the poor guy out. You can do that, can't you? Of course! Lend a hand as you must literally start from dirt as you start up his farm, name his prices on the market, pick up his own contracts and expand into other streams of income- like the cattle industry. Help him to make sure that he buys more land, plants a good variety of vegetables and flowers, feeds and shelters his animals, keeps up with supply and demand, balances his check book and that he work with available upgrades in tools, storage et cetera. Like all farms there's ups and downs but with help from you he's sure to succeed!

Try to keep from getting a tired wrist in this "rags to riches" story line as you win levels and trophies and grow your way to success. This is a great game for the "green" movement of today as it's focus is farming, however, business afficionados are sure to like it as well since it provides plenty economic challenges. Virtual Farm is a game every age can enjoy: simple enough to understand with a maddening increasing complexity!

I give it a 4/5! This absorbing game was fun and fast paced, yet it included a tutorial that was simple and easy to understand. It was fun because you don't get lost. Thanks to the tutorial, you know what your options are and what you should probably do in order to create revenue. You can play it with or without sound as the cute music and graphics allow for an amusing experience. Be smart as this is a "busy" game so don't expect any time to ponder important decisions, you have to think quickly as you can't run out of products that are in high demand, your plants always need tending and your clients always want more. The days are never long enough, for a farmers work is never done right here on Virtual Farm.
