Introduction: This article includes information regarding the difference between Autokinesis, Electrokinesis and Telekinesis.

Electrokinesis is often mistaken for Autokinesis (general energy manipulation including electricity) or Telekinesis (a exclusive manipulative power over electromagnetism or electrostatics). Electrokinesis is used by all psychics and kinetics to a very small degree. Strong coupling between an electromagnetic resonant object and a kinetic/psychic is used to transfer energy and data wirelessly which is possible by the kinetic/psychic and receiving object being critically tuned to the same frequency enabling energy and data transfer. Simply put, you and the object you are manipulating have the exact unique frequency which enables you to communicate with each other. Because you can open up communication with this object, you can send it commands, with practice.

Again, all psychics use electromagnetic waves to manipulate objects so it is up to you to decide what object you are manipulating with your electrokinetic ability. It is very rare that an individual will only have just electrokinesis as a sole ability. In fact, it is one of the most limited and weaker of the abilities. Unless you use your ability to manipulate a certain object your ability will remain weak. Enhancing an ability in many directions, multitasking, will result in a weak ability with several manipulations while choosing one object will result in a strong ability with one manipulation. Don't spread yourself to thin.

Autokinetic Not Electrokinetic

Those with very strong energy connections need to realize they are Autokinetic not Electrokinetic. Autokinesis is the full ability to manipulate energy of many forms and they are not limited only to the manipulation of just electrons. In this case your ability is far more detailed and impressive then you are giving it credit for. An autokinetic who only focuses on enhancing their communication with electrons is missing out on almost all of their abilities potential. Your ability is wide spread and may cover many forms of energy. You should, in this case, be working towards opening up communication with all forms of energy until you find which form of energy you work best with.
