Fields Of Love
Oh, what joy to walk amongst the tall grass
Holding hands with the one you love
Butterflies dancing around our heads
Bright sunshine and blue skies above.
The gentle breeze blowing through the fields
Waving to us as we stroll along
We look up at the billowing clouds
And in our hearts a sweet love song.
Skylarks above us trilling mellow tunes
We play hide and seek in the long stems
Chewing on blades of grass between our teeth
Playfully laughing and tickling, more than friends.
Lying on our backs we wish upon the clover
The smell of wild lillies permeates our noses
While talking of our dreams we touch each other
Tender and softly like dew dropped roses.
To smell the scent of mother nature
As we roll around crushing red faced poppies
Free as the wind our love un-restrained
Serenaded by the creaking grasshoppers.

Our hearts in harmony sing
On the wings of angels, together we fly
Embracing
If the soul that was created
the same moment that my soul was made
were to walk in the world with me,
were to stand beside
