If these were the last few days I've left
I wouldn't ask God for a day more or day less
My life is His & His to take
I'd soon be in heaven, for you I'd wait
If these were the last few days I've left
I'd ask God to give you all that He had given me
For you took pains to know me when I needed it
And loved me when I least deserved it
If these were the last few days I've left
I'd ask God to give you even more
For you gave me time to grow
And allowed me patience when I fall
You accept me as I am
Till eternity I'll never forget
For the kindness & grace you have poured out on me
You mean the world to me, I'll have you know
And forever we're bonded in Christ's name
Nothing shall break this ship apart
