I walked across the hall Into my room
I closed the door behind me
And entered into my world
You sat at the corner Waiting for me
Yet I ignored You Went away to do as I please
People often wondered where You were
Crying out for an answer
Desperately trying to hear You
But then You are right there waiting
For us to share our day with You
I left You behind, Lord
Everywhere I went I went without You
Suddenly when I missed You & felt Your silence
I demanded for Your presence
Then I realized
That I left You behind, Lord
And I didn't have to demand
All I have to do
Is to look into the closest place around me
There You always are
Deep inside my heart
