Starting a butterfly garden

Starting a butterfly garden can be one of the most interesting project that man will ever encounter. With the observing one amazing transformation of an egg to caterpillar to a beautiful full grown fluttering butterfly.Once you have observed this little miracle as I call it, you will never be the same.

As a child, it was always amazing to see a butterfly,it was just so majestic .Today, it still is a favorite pastime of many to see all the different kind of butterflies.Butterflies can bring a smile and put upbeat in people's spirits.They also have another important role and that is pollination of our food.80% of our world's food supply require pollination.

In the past, farmers and gardeners have depended on butterflies to help pollinate their crops.Sadly , the farmers didn't realize just how important they were and did little to nurture the beautiful little animals of nature.With land falling to housing developments the butterfly is hurting for food and plants that are crutial to their survival.So, there's a dramatic change today in regard of helping our butterflies survive. The people have realized it doesn't matter where we live,on a farm, the big city, or just about anywhere with little efforts, we can defitely make a difference to help save them.People thinking more on saving our enviromentand nature,this could be a number one question, How do we save the butterflies?

You may already have butterfly visitors in your flower beds or gardens,but what really makes this so special is someone that really sees the needs of this little butterfly thoughout his whole life's cycle.With a few steps, someone can create a haven for the butterflies to live and enjoy as long as there's plenty of sunshine.These steps are sure to attract your little creatures so and some will spend their entire life with you in your garden.

1.Nectar~
Adult butterflies like to sip for a variety of nectar-producing sources that can include flowers,herbs, trees, and sometimes spoiled fruit. purchasing a butterfly bush ,and other butterfly plants that usually bloom throughout the growing season,such as large flowers,such as the daisies,hibiscus,joe-pye weed, blackeyed susans and other assortments so they can alight and sip[ nectar whenever.These can really be a tempting feast!
With the right flowers,they will come.It is nothing to count up to 20 or more on a butterfly bush,and the sight is out of this world.
