Ever year 850 million animals are tortured and killed for one company, KFC. If the animals were cats or dogs they would indicted on felony animal cruelty charges. To some people the species determines the value of its welfare, rather than the fact the its a living, breathing creature.

These chickens are pumped with so many hormones and steriods that their poor legs break under the weight of their ever increasing body mass. (And parents wonder why their 10 year old has D-cups, as they shovel meat in them everyday.) The chickens are packed together so tightly that they suffer ammonia burns on their legs and body.

They are then treated to having themselves hung upside down and having their throats slit. Those are the lucky ones. Workers have been filmed ringing their necks, throwing them against the wall, stomping them to death, and otherwise torturing them. They then have the pleasure of being submerged in boiling water, usually still conscious.

If that doesn't bother you, I feel sorry for you.
