I am looking at this app right now believe it or not, but as far as how good it actually is, it isn't. While it gives you access to chat, and view yours and other comments, it does nothing else. All the features are friends, inbox, and chat, while this seems like a limitless opportunity, it actually sucks, except for the photos! Now, I am not a huge fan of facebook, but I do have one, and I can tell you exactly what you will get, but just not it is the bare minimum. When you log on, you are greeted by a welcome screen that displays your first name, and under that is a few options, they are:
• Wall
• Mini-Feed
• Photos
From these, I Will give you a run down of each one:
First is Wall, from here, you click and move onto a plain screen, that loads into a few text boxes that are connected just like in the iPhone settings menu, and in each on is a photo that the person you left you a comment is using as their default, and the message they left, what makes this feature so terrible, is that it is bare, after using facebook online, the iPhone makes it just seem to bare to be enjoyable.
Next Is Mini feed, again, you will not that is exactly like the Wall part of the facebook app. It has a link-up of all the recent activities that you have made to your account. Including new apps on your facebook, and comments that you have left, just as facebook does when you log onto your account on a desktop.
Last is the photos part of the app. While this seems like it would be the worst, it is actually the best part of the app. While your here, you view a slide by of all the photos of yours, or any others profile. The clarity of this was amazing to me, it was fast, and all the photos were perfect for viewing.
Ultimately, if you need to talk to someone, it is an effective way through faceboook, however, it is does not have a great graphical interface, other than the one that uses the photos.
