We often confuse or misunderstand positive thinking or what is called positive attitude in life. We know the power of positive thinking in life. I wanted to make it very clear what is positive attitude/thinking. Let us give you an example of positive thinking rather than drilling you with some philosophical statements, with a story here. Because a story will penetrate the mind and conscious more than several philosophical statements or definitions and will be retained by our brain, because we are not in school now to record in our brain/memorise what we learnt so easily. With this story, I believe most of you understand positiveness more vividly than ever.

Now on to the story. An elderly couple was travelling in a bus which is with almost full capacity, travelling on a hilly terrain. Most of them were dreaming/hoping about a pleasure journey and nice vacation ahead. While the stop for the elderly couple came, they got out of the bus and walked over to their destination. Then the speeding bus went ahead. There came a mighty rock in the way and dashed upon the bus in a couple of minutes in the next curve of the Road.

Alas! all of the 70+ passengers including the conductor and driver died due to the mishap and nobody could survive. That was a bizarre accident killing all of them!

The next day the news flashed in the daily. One of the well-wisher asked the elderly couple "what do you feel about the accident" Do not you think you are lucky that you got down from the bus in the right time? The Elderly couple told "no" "but why?"

If we did not got down from the bus, the bus would not have got hit by the rock, as the rock would have fallen right behind the bus, missing it in few minutes! The time taken by the bus to stop and let us get down was crucial. That time would have been saved, because of which the rock will miss the bus. Alas! so many lives would have been saved!

Yes, this is the positive attitude. Instead of thinking that I am saved from accident, the elderly couple thought that we should not have not got down the bus, which could have saved so many lives! Thinking about a common good and non-self-centric, is a rare gesture, nowadays! This positive attitude made so many people as leaders, and these leaders again planted positive attitude in several others, thereby the positive attitude make the world to thrive!

This positive attitude in career makes one a 'pro' and this thought process is 'planted' in several minds of a society when they experience them. Such is the power ! Try to make this as your attitude in life and grow like a pro and let others grow also! In every walk of life such a positive attitude is required to make one a successful person!
