Poetry: Thoughts

by Robert Harrison

Created on: July 28, 2008

We all have a purpose for living
When our mom,s first gave us life
A wonderfull thing is living
Without sorrow and strife

A wonderfull thing god gave us
Buetyfull sights and sound
All of the sights before you
All of the great things you have found

Remember days in your childhood
Remember your first teenage kiss
You thought that she was so lovely
Holding her close was just bliss

Time seemed to drag bye so slowly
In the days when you were a kid
Thinking of new things to do
And all of the things you did

you learnt right from wrong
Make mistakes along the way
In all the things you do
In all the things you say

You ate almost anything
Where and when and how
Thinking all about it
You wish you could do that now

Never had a acke or pain
In the days when you were a kid
Energy to burn
In everything you did

When your mind it wonders back
Memories in your brain
you see kids playing football
"Cant go there again"!
