The pain runs so deep
Feeling so alone
So many secrets to hide
This pain inside me is too much to take
I smile and act like nothings' wrong
No one knows what I hold inside me
I am so tired of a putting on a show
Pretending like everything is ok
I want someone to help
To rescue me from this hell
But I sit silent and smile
And no one knows

I feel my heart start sinking,
Like the anchor from a ship,
I can not stop this thinking
Tears trickle on
With stabs in my back
I grow weary
crimson tears of betrayal .
lies are deadly
people are crushed
innocents hurt
for the selfish
