Recipes: Great appetizers

Green Onion Appetizers: Makes about 2 dozen

4 whole green onions, (including tops) finely minced
1 Clove Garlic, finely minced
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
6 Tbs Sour Cream or plain Yogurt
2 dozen Trisket Crackers

Stir green onions, garlic cheese, and sour cream until well blended,
Spread cheese mixture on Trisket or melba cracker.
Place on a baking sheet
Broil on top rack until melted and lightly browned, about 2-4 minutes.

FRUIT AND CHEESE KABOBS, WITH A KICK:
2 small bricks(200g) of cheese any 2 flavours,
2-4 different kinds of fruit(strawberries,apples, Kiwi, oranges,honey dew, pine apple anything you can think of is great) 8 wooden skweres 1/2 cup of Raspberry vinaigrette Dressing

1) Cut cheese into bite sized pieces
2) Cut fresh fruit into bite sized cubes 3) Thread fruit and cheese bites on a skewer Serve with vinaigrette to dip ! Serves 4-8

Sea Like Salmon Dip
(Goes with Almost ANYTHING. Crackers, bread, tortillia chips. It's up to you.)

4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 Whole Green Onions, Chopped
2 tablespoons finley chopped celery
1 teaspoon Fresh chopped Dill
1 7oz can of salmon
salt and pepper to taste

Blend together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice and lemon peel.
Stir in remaining ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Chill for 2o minutes before serving.

Makes 2 cups of dip.
Serve with crackers, tortilla chips or vegetables.

TUNA BITES
1 can of tuna (chunky or flaked)
1 green onion finely chopped 1-2 Tbsp Miracle whip
A sprinkle of Celery Salt, & Garlic POWDER(not salt)
1/2 an english cucumber thinly sliced 1 sprigg of fresh dill
10-15 of your favourite snack crackers (like the rosemary and sage trisket crackers)

1) Drain Tuna. In a bowl mix tuna, green onion, spices and miricale whip.
2) Place a slice of cucumber on each cracker
3) Top with tuna mix
4) Finish with a piece of fresh dill
Makes up to 15 pieces
