Dual master bedrooms for older adults is the ultimate in saving a marriage! Especially when one of them snores. This actually doesn't even have to be an older couple. Why not if you are young and when you can't sleep because your partner is snoring so loud the windows rattle? And there you sit at 3 AM contemplating: divorce, pouring water in that open mouth, pinching your partner, taking a bat to that offensive sound, or sleeping on the lumpy couch in the livingroom.
Dual master bedrooms can be a dream for that couple who want equality yet a good night's sleep, privacy in their bathroom and so they don't worry about waking the other if they get up in the middle of the night. Reading or watching television is the ultimate in your own room without bothering your partner.
So there is no jealousy issue, the two rooms can be identical, large room with walk-in closet and a master bath. Face it men do resent that their wives take up all the space in the bedroom, bath and of course the closet area. Now there is a solution, both partners have master bedrooms. Equal in all aspects!
For the builder, either side by side master suites with one facing the front of the house and one facing the back, bathrooms in the middle. Another solution would be to have them at separate ends of the house, this would be ideal if you are young and just starting out, you can't stand to sleep without your partner then it's a great guest room' for now.
When you are older and do decide its time part ways with the sleeping arrangements then here you have equal rooms. Then you will have to figure out whom to send to the other room. The man would naturally be the logical choice because the woman will already have 7/8ths of the first master bedroom already, so this would be a simple move. Well she doesn't see it that way; she will want the 'new' room, but first will have to redecorate before moving in. Remember equality in this. This is why the rooms will have to be identical. The man will resent it if the rooms are not equal, seriously!
All in all dual master bedrooms are one of the best ideas since twin beds for the married couple. This is so much better than twin beds! This soon will become a great trend not only for saving a marriage, but making a couple who have different needs feel more comfortable in their surroundings. And to feel there is a place that is all their own and they can do what ever they want in their own space. Be it decorating the place, watching what you want when you want on the television, listening to music all night long as you slumber, not listening to snoring all night long as you TRY to slumber, tidy or untidy rooms, the ultimate in everything is however you want it in your own master bedroom without getting a divorce! Which you don't want anywayyou just don't want to share a bedroom with your partner anymore.
