Crimson Ashes
Tracers flash before my eyes
Of lightnings' past and fireflies
Memories collide and blur together
Of times that have gone by; lost forever
Our dreams and aspirations ebb and flow
Floating lost and free like flakes of snow
Fears and misery at times were conquered
The ones left free our conciousness doctored
Once my life was youthful, pleasant and free
Dancing in the forest, lost in the trees
Now I'm racing through these frozen caverns
Faces stare back; blurred from the taverns
Mirrors shatter what once was to be
The spirit and courage must come from me
While I am climbing through these ice jambed passes
Crimson embers glow in the bluest of ashes

Doubling back to where
I was just standing,
I forget what it was
that I needed.

While remembering the one

A Window To My World
Here is a window, a bearing of soul
Look inside, God plays the leading role
Through defeat and success
