Poetry: True love

by Rachael Webster

Created on: July 26, 2008

MYSTERY.

She moves with certain eloquence
With perfect skin and long dark hair,
Her beauty pure and elegant
Her every step so debonair.

He's always been in love with her
For all of his whole life.
All he's ever wanted was to
Have her for his wife.

He greets her every morning,
And kisses her goodnight.
Then tells her how he loves her
Before turning out the light.

But when the daylight breaks,
He finds himself alone,
Once more his heart is broken,
Right to the very core.

For she never even known him,
He with her in his dreams,
So still he watches from afar
The girl he loves; his mystery.
