I'm stuck in a world of vindication
Here I have no expectations
So what if I'm completely wrong
It always comes down to nothing more than a song
I scream the lyrics silently
Hoping you might hear me
I am no longer alone in losing you
It's all just a mind game; What did I do?
What I would give to only call you a friend
Who am I kidding; It's all just pretend
When you lie, swear, and cheat
It's a game that can never be beat
I can't even look at you anymore
Because all is fair in love and war

By the Sea
I took a walk along the shore,
And looked out toward the sea.

etched deep into my soul -
barren solitude in
a world full of
beating hearts with
no compassion.

If you ever sipped from the

living in a small coagulated island

Her form lies printed on the sheet
Her fragrance lingers in the heat
What chance that we again should meet
On distant shores
