What I was trying to figure out, you already understood
Sometimes the simplest words at hand
Become the most complicated to understand
It's easier to let go what you love inside
To prove if it's wrong or right
In my eyes, trust is the key
And I miss you from the depths of the sea
I'm writing this for you
Hoping it will show you the truth
Cold nights remind me of when I lost you
Thoughts of what should have been or still could be
Crosses my mind every time you leave
Starry skies and summer nights
Make me wish we had it right
When I see that look in your eyes
I fall in love again, every time
