My way of earning money/experience in rune scape is through mining. I have 3 ways of doing so each benefiting my character very well. These are my methods:

1. VERY FAST MONEY AND AVERAGE EXPERIENCE
Requires: 70 mining, 70 smithing(optional, could use req. assistance), 43 mage
What I do is I go into the wild were the 8 adamant ores are and mine all 8 of them, then i hop worlds and mine another 8 of them until my inventory is full. Note: bring food in case of reverant attack. When my inventory is full I run to the bank in bounty hunter and store all of my stuff. I then go into bounty hunter and die purposely to restore my health and my energy. I continue to do runs for adamant ores until I have about 200 ores in my bank (8 trips) I then go to Falador mining guild with about 12 adamant ores, 12 nature runes, a fire staff, and a rune pick. I mine 6 coal then request assist to a person with 70+ smithing, I then super heat an adamant bar. I continue this untill all of my ores have been turned into bars. I sell the bars for 2.3k each. 200 adamant bars X 2300gp each = 460k! (460 000gp)

2. ABOVE AVERAGE MONEY AND AVERAGE EXPERIENCE
Requires: 60 mining, 50 smithing, 43 mage
What I do is I buy about 200 Mithrill ores from grand exchange and bank them, I take about 20 mith ores a fire staff, rune pick and 20 natures to mining guild and mine coal. When i have 4 coal i super heat a mithril bar. I continue this untill all of my mith ores have been turned to bars. I sell the bars for 1k each. 200 mith bars X 1000gp each = 200k

3. AVERAGE MONEY AND EXTREMELY VERY FAST EXPERIENCE.
Requires: A high mining level
Mining iron is the fastest way to get your mining level up, but it takes forever to drop it or run and bank it. So i found a way to continuously mine iron with no more then 10 second trade breaks. I call it iron running, it involves another player working for you. What you do is you go into dwarven mines with rune pick and about 100k. You mine 25 iron ores then trade your employee, he will give you 25 noted iron, you will give him the 25 iron you just mined and 500-800gp. Your employee then runs to the bank to re-note-ify your ores while you mine another inventory full. continue this until you have given your entire 100k to your employee. 200 total trades X 25 noted iron = 5000 iron ores X 100gp each = 500k! minus 100k = 400k profit! 5000 iron ores mined X 35xp per iron ore = 175 000 xp! This is my favorite way to make money and experience, however it takes a long time to find a faithfull employee that understands the concept. You should normally try to hire noobs under combat level 40 that dont understand that while your making 400k there only making 100k:)
