IS SIN REAL?
There are many ways in which man chooses to look at sin. Men have many theories about sin; theories that makes them comfortably diluted about sin and the consequences of sinning. We have a habit in life of taking out all kinds of insurance to help us when we get sick, when we have a hurricane, when our home needs protection, and many other types of insurance. We are not as apt to take out insurance against an eternity in Hell, by opting to trust in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It does not negate the fact that sin is real and the consequences for sinning has a price that will be paid; it is not a myth. Some men call the Doctrine of Original Sin a myth. This is the first act of disobedience by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Sin is real. The Word of God says, "The wages of sin is death." There is the physical death of the body being divested and there is spiritual death. Sin spelled spiritual death for Adam and Eve and it spells death to each of us who do not accept Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the propitiation for our sins. Satan would love for you to believe that sin is a myth. We are moral free agents with the responsibility of choosing who we will serve independently. We can choose to serve God or serve sin and Satan.

What Is Sin If not Disobedience?
The Dictionary describes sin as an act, a thought, or behavior that goes against the law or teaching.... We are saying that it goes against The Word of God and it is something that offends the moral or ethical principle of The Word. In Christian theology, the condition of being denied God's grace because of a sin or sins committed. In the original translation of the Bible it means, "to miss the mark" and the mark in this case is the standard of perfection established by God. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 following. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." You really cannot discuss sin unless you accept what The Word of God has to say about sin. No man would know about sin unless God first made man aware of His expectations and His promises to man if man would be obedient to the will of God. God gave mankind a set of guidelines to follow. Adam knew what God expected of him in the Garden but with the help of Eve, he chose to disobey. Satan still poses the question to man "Hath God" and man defies God by posing the question "Is Sin a myth?" The answer is No; sin is no myth. There is an inner compass in man that allows him to know when he is trespassing. Man will try to
