What is higher knowledge?

Knowledge is like Life. While life is only one in that there is only one life in essence, yet live appears in innumerable different forms and grades. First of all, there are seven kingdoms in life:

i. The human kingdom
ii. The angelic kingdom
iii. The elemental or deva kingdom
iv. The mammal or four-foot /animal kingdom
v. The egg-layers kingdoms
vi. The insect kingdoms

vii. The mineral and plant kingdom.

When we look at the above kingdoms we find that there are millions of individual lives in any given kingdom. When we consider the grade or quality of life in these kingdoms we find that there is a great difference in the quality of life in any kingdom. Moreover, that quality of life in any given kingdom also varies from the individualized living entities or souls in that kingdom. For this reason, we find that as humans for example, there millions that live below the poverty line, earning less than a dollar per day. Even in big modern cities like New York and London we find homeless lives the same way it is in many African towns and cities. Doesn't this demonstrate to us that there are different states or degree and levels of life? In spite of the fact that all life entities from plants, insects, fish and birds to animals and humans - all nourish, grow and die yet the knowledge each kingdom entity applies to life may be different in states of awareness and consciousness. Surely it does. Likewise, knowledge is different at different levels and grades of creation and evolution. Consider the knowledge of a wild pig and that of the Crested Crane when it comes to cleanliness. The knowledge of a toddler or an ordinary six year old boy is different from the knowledge of a five year old genius girl. There are different levels or degrees of knowledge depending upon the different levels and degrees of evolution of individualized beings or souls although all of them are human beings borne of a mother and a father but all of them created in the very image of God.

When we speak of higher knowledge we simply mean that knowledge may be different in terms of quality, power, intensity or loftiness, not to mention whether it is evil or divine.

It is not how or the means by which one acquires that determine the quality or value and power of that knowledge but rather whether the knowledge so acquired is divine, lofty, invaluable, useful or destructive or evil. Equipped with this understanding we can then be able to make a distinction between knowledge. Is it lowest, low, high or higher
