Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump are basically carrying on like two pouting teens in middle school.

To be fair, it was Rosie who set it off, as it seems the only way she can garner more ratings for "The View" now is to say something insulting about another celebrity. Rosie pretty much turns on her mouth and lets the motor run, without any thoughts of the consequences. She should have known not to offend "The Donald", because he can be mean-spirited and ruthless, if criticized. Touch his ego and you are dust!

Where Trump has made a mistake is in even acknowledging Rosie's remarks in the first place. By raging in response to her on a number of media venues, he has given her and "The View" exactly what they wanted- ratings and publicity. This show is such a joke now that drawing controversy is the only reason people will watch anymore.

If Trump wanted to knock the wind out of Rosie's sails, he should have ignored her and refused to comment, acting as though she never said a word. Had he done so, Rosie's boorish remarks would have been quickly forgotten and he would have looked a lot more classy, in comparison.

As much as Star Jones could get on people's nerves, she was a lot better than Rosie O'Donnell, who comes across as an obnoxious, overbearing bully.
