Poetry: Betrayal

Nothing Remains

Without you I'm lonely, without you I'm tragic, without you I don't know where to go
and I never started the things that I finished
the questions I answered where never disclosed
where did this come from,
where am I going
why do I feel so empty and sad
I should be happy, so happy you're hungry
instead I'm involved in the fight in my head
why are you laughing, eternal laughing
everyone near me has made me feel bad
how can I throw all that away
how can I trust you'll stay
when everything I ever learned
was that in the end
nothing remains...
