Scoregolf magazine called it "the best resort course in Canada. I call it the "be sure not to get distracted by the view when you launch your six-iron skyward, only to have it come straight down and take a chunk from your scalp resort course."

The most amusing aspect of the experience, other than trying to pelt Canadian Geese with my tee shot, was the GPS device on the golf cart. My philosophy has always been if you hit your golf ball far enough offline that you could get lost looking for it, take a mulligan.

The forested area around the Whistler Golf Course provides a home for coyotes and black bears. Feel free to take an extra tee shot, if necessary.

Scoregolf magazine calls the Whistler Golf Course one of the top 100 courses in North America. I call it, "I wonder exactly how many golf balls are lying at the bottom of the course's nine lakes, and would it be worth risking hypothermia to retrieve them course?"

In awe of the incredible surroundings and amazing course appearance, I decided to not start an international incident over the course name. I did, however, try to persuade Arnold Palmer, course creator, to start a fight with Jack Nicklaus, whose course was actually named after him.

The restraining order is still in effect.
